A complete laundry.
We handle all your professional laundry needs from business shirts, jeans, dockers, and any specialty item that can be starched. Our laundry utilizes an enzyme detergent process to get your whites whiter and your colors looking like new. We use state of the art equipment that insures your laundry receives the best care. Our inspectors check every shirt and pant for pressing quality and broken buttons. If we find a missing or broken button we will replace it at no charge.
The finest drycleaning facility.
We have the most modern, up to date plant and equipment in the industry. Our personnel are trained in the finest techniques to handle your garments professionally. Peerless has the only Certified Garment Care Professionals in Corpus Christi. In the dry cleaning process special fluids and solvents are used in a dry cleaning machine to remove soil and stains from fabric. It is called dry cleaning because the fluid contains little or no water and does not penetrate and weaken the fibers in the way water does. Advantages include the ability to dissolve grease and oils in a way that soap and water cannot. Natural fibers such as wool dry clean beautifully, but when washed in water, can shrink and distort. Synthetic fibers such as polyester also respond well to dry cleaning, as oily spots will come out easily. Proper dry cleaning helps to return your garments to a ‘like-new’ condition. Professional dry cleaning involves many different operations, all performed by skilled people, and designed to give your garments a fresh, clean appearance. Peerless people are highly trained to properly identify, clean and finish all garments, and to exercise a number of special procedures when handling your items.
Alterations
Our seamstresses have over 50 years of experience in the alteration business and can handle any of your alteration needs. Alterations are available at all 16 of our locations. We also have two locations with seamstresses on hand to fit you for your alteration (Main Plant and Ingleside check location page for maps).
Laundromats
We have five laundromats to serve you. All are equiped with the most modern laundry equipment for self serve or wash dry fold service. Our laundromats are not 24 hour unattended, but are open until 10:00 pm 7 days a week. They always have a clerk there to handle change, clean up spills and service your needs. We have heard from our customers that we have the nicest laundromats in the Coastal Bend. Check the location tab to find the laundromat near you.
Wash, Dry and Fold
Also known as fluff & fold, items such as t-shirts, jeans, towels, sheets, etc. that we just wash, dry and fold. It’s the laundry you can do at home, but you are too busy or have better things to do with your time. So, allow us to do it for you! The whites and colors are separated before washing. We use special unscented soap, so if you have sensitive skin, it shouldn’t bother you. We know how to wash and dry your laundry so whites & colors are just the way it should be, clean and fresh. Each item is then nicely folded and packaged. This service is offered at all our locations; but is the specialty of our six laundromats.
Draperies of any size
Have your draperies cleaned now to prolong their life and beauty. Dirt, exposure to sun, and household heat cause fabric to wear and colors to fade. Our experts restore freshness and extend the life of your draperies. Our 18 foot Perfect Pleat drapery machine can handle draperies of any size. It is the only one in South Texas.
Gown preservation
Our expert fabricare professionals employ the most current techniques to make your wedding gown look as good as the day of your wedding. After the gown is cleaned it is inspected, after it is pressed it is inspected, and before it is boxed in the vacuumed sealed box it is inspected to insure the utmost quality. Our exclusive service includes Professional Cleaning & Preservation and a Special, museum quality, Acid Free Container. Every dress comes with a warranty and inspection checklist on the box.
Commercial and hotel valet service
We service more than 10 of the major hotels in the Corpus Christi area. We offer same day hotel valet service for all hotel guests. We are the only cleaner in Corpus Christi to designate an employee to service the hotels exclusively. Pillows, quilts and comforters
We offer cleaning on most household items. Our dry cleaners use the best techniques to assure that your comforters and quilts are cleaned and returned good as new. We have a down pillow cleaning machine that not only cleans but adds new feathers to your pillow. With a new ticking you will have a good as new pillow for about half the cost.
Flood restoration
Hopefully you will never need this service, but in the case you have water damage in your house we will come and take all your garments as soon as possible and begin the process of restoring them to their original condition. We also offer to store them for you until you have a dry, clean location to store them yourself.
Suede and Leather cleaning
We offer expert suede and leather cleaning for your most valuable garments. We also offer restoration and alterations of these garments when the need arises.
